Recipe Ingredients

  • ½ cup Tropicana Pure Premium Original (No Pulp) Orange Juice
  • 1 ½ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 15 ounces whole milk ricotta cheese
  • ¾ cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest

Recipe Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a medium-sized bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.
  2. Add sugar and orange zest to a small bowl and combine with your fingers.
  3. In a stand mixer, beat sugar and eggs until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Add in ricotta, olive oil, whole milk, vanilla extract, and orange juice. Continue to mix for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Slowly add in flour mixture, being careful not to over-mix. Pour mixture into a greased springform pan and bake for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick is inserted in the middle and comes out clean.
  5. Let rest for 10 minutes, then remove the sides of the pan and let cool completely. Once cooled, gently flip over and dust with powdered sugar.
