Recipe Ingredients
- 2 packages (15 count, each) Athens® Phyllo Shells
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 ounces of cheese (any combination of sliced cheddar, pepper jack, and/or crumbled blue cheese)
Optional Garnishes:
- Pickles
- Sweet potato chips
- Canned french-fried onions
- Cooked bacon
Recipe Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Shape heaping tablespoons of ground beef into 30 patties. Cook patties in a large frying pan over medium heat for 2 minutes on each side. Drain on a paper towel.
- Place phyllo shells on a baking sheet. Top each shell with a mini burger and a portion of cheese. Bake for about 6 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the shells are crisp.
- Serve warm with assorted toppings of choice.
