Recipe Ingredients

  • 8 chicken thighs, or 2 chicken halves
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Olive oil, for brushing grill grates
  • Chopped fresh cilantro, parsley, mint or basil, for garnish

Recipe Directions

  1. Place chicken in large resealable plastic bag. Add yogurt, lime juice, honey, salt, pepper, turmeric and crushed red pepper flakes. Massage yogurt mixture into chicken to cover completely. Marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes, or refrigerate several hours, or overnight.
  2. Heat grill to medium-high heat and brush grates with oil. Brush excess marinade off chicken. Grill chicken until golden-brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F, about 4 to 5 minutes per side. Top with herbs and serve.
