Recipe Ingredients
SALAD:
- 1 pkg. of Tyson Grilled and Ready® Chicken Breast Strips
- 1 head of romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 head of napa cabbage, chopped
- ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
HONEY GARLIC MARINADE:
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
GOCHUJANG HONEY DRESSING:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1-2 Tbsp. gochujang paste (to taste)
- 2 Tbsp. lime juice
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- salt to taste
Recipe Directions
- Thaw the package of frozen chicken in the refrigerator overnight.
- Combine the marinade ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk thoroughly.
- Cut the thawed chicken into large chunks and add to the marinade. Toss to coat thoroughly. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Combine the dressing ingredients in a small bowl, whisk thoroughly and keep refrigerated until you’re ready to assemble the salad.
- After the chicken has marinated, heat a grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers and brush with gochujang paste on all sides
- Grill 3-5 minutes, turning the skewered chicken about half way through cook time.
- Remove the cooked chicken from the grill and set aside.
- Toss together the chopped romaine, cabbage and basil. Place in a large serving bowl.
- Add the diced mango and place the chicken skewers on top.
- Drizzle with the gochujang honey dressing and sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds on top.
