Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped baked SeaPak Clam Strips
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup clam juice
  • 1 cup chopped canned clams
  • Oil, for frying
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 cups flour

Recipe Directions

  1. Bake Seapak Clam Strips according to package directions. Roughly chop baked clams after removing from oven.
  2. In a medium sized bowl mix together flour, baking powder, salt, pepper and onion powder.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the eggs, clam juice, and canned clams. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Fold in the chopped baked clams.
  4. Scoop batter and drop into hot oil to fry until golden, about 2-3 minutes. Finish with salt and enjoy with some hot chowder.
