Recipe Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz.) box gingersnap cookies
- 2 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 10 Twix Ice Cream Bars, cut into 1-inch pieces
- Ground cinnamon, for dusting
Recipe Directions
- Break cookies into 1/2-inch pieces, reserving 8 for topping trifle.
- Using an electric hand mixer or whisk, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla together until stiff peaks form, about 1 to 2 minutes. Sprinkle 1/3 of the cookie pieces in the bottom of trifle bowl. Spread 1/3 of the whipped cream evenly over the cookies. Top with 1/3 of the ice cream bars. Repeat layers 2 more times, ending with the ice cream bars.
- Garnish with reserved cookies and dust with cinnamon. Serve immediately and enjoy.
Tip
Substitute the large trifle bowl with 10 mini trifle bowls to create individualized desserts!
