Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, divided
  • 1 small green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 small yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 pound fresh shaved sirloin steak, or frozen shaved sirloin steak, thawed
  • 4 Oh!Tatoes™ Fully Baked Idaho® Potatoes
  • 1 cup store-bought or homemade cheddar cheese sauce, warmed

Recipe Directions

  1. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Add peppers and onions and cook until tender, about 3 to 4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to plate and set aside.
  2. In the same clean skillet, heat remaining oil. Add steak and cook until fully cooked and lightly browned, about 3 to 4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Return vegetables to skillet and toss to combine.
  3. Meanwhile, microwave potatoes according to package directions. Split tops of potatoes open with knife.
  4. Top potatoes with steak and vegetable mixture. Drizzle with cheese sauce and serve.
