Recipe Ingredients
- 1 box Mrs. T’s Four Cheese Medley Mini Pierogies
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 8 ounces Gruyère cheese, grated
- 8 ounces Swiss or fontina cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Fresh nutmeg
Recipe Directions
- Sauté Mrs. T’s Four Cheese Medley Mini Pierogies until golden brown, following the box instructions. Set aside and keep warm.
- In a small, heavy-bottomed pot or fondue pot, simmer wine over low heat. Add the garlic and flour and stir well.
- Slowly add in the cheeses a handful at a time, stirring well until completely melted.
- Continue the process until all of the cheese is added.
- Grate in fresh nutmeg to taste and whisk until combined.
- Serve warm with Mrs. T’s Four Cheese Medley Mini Pierogies and any other dippers of your choice.
Tip: Dipper recommendations include soft pretzels, cubed bread, steamed vegetables, sliced apples, grapes and cooked sausage.
