Recipe Ingredients
- 2 (8 oz.) bags Borden® Thick Cut Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 1 clove garlic, finely grated
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- Assorted crudites, such as cherry tomatoes, broccoli florets, multi-color sweet peppers, bread cubes and gherkin pickles
Recipe Directions
- Toss cheddar and cornstarch together in large bowl until coated. Preheat a fondue pot or heavy-bottom saucepan over medium heat. Add white wine and garlic and bring to a simmer, about 2 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low, and add half of the cheese mixture and nutmeg. Stir until melted, about 5 minutes. Stir in remaining cheese until melted, about 5 minutes. Keep warm over low heat, and serve with assorted crudites.
