Recipe Ingredients

  • 8 sheets Athens Phyllo Dough
  • 1/2 block Land O'Lakes Salted Butter
  • Sesame seeds
  • Nigella seeds
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon Aleppo pepper (optional)

Recipe Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 380F.
  2. Slice the block of feta into 8 slices. Place the butter in a bowl and melt.
  3. Once the Phyllo Dough is fully thawed, remove from wrapping but cover with a damp towel. Take one sheet, place it on a working bench, brush fully with the melted butter then add 1 slice of feta at the bottom, fold both sides and roll, making sure you butter the far edge so it sticks.
  4. Place in an oven sheet with parchment paper, brush more butter to cover it fully then sprinkle sesame and nigella seeds. Bake in the oven for 20-24 minutes or until golden. Once it’s fully baked, place in a serving bowl, and in a different bowl add the honey and Aleppo pepper and warm in the oven for 15 seconds. Drizzle on top of the parcels before serving and enjoy.
