Recipe Ingredients
- 8 sheets Athens Phyllo Dough
- 1/2 block Land O'Lakes Salted Butter
- Sesame seeds
- Nigella seeds
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon Aleppo pepper (optional)
Recipe Directions
- Preheat oven to 380F.
- Slice the block of feta into 8 slices. Place the butter in a bowl and melt.
- Once the Phyllo Dough is fully thawed, remove from wrapping but cover with a damp towel. Take one sheet, place it on a working bench, brush fully with the melted butter then add 1 slice of feta at the bottom, fold both sides and roll, making sure you butter the far edge so it sticks.
- Place in an oven sheet with parchment paper, brush more butter to cover it fully then sprinkle sesame and nigella seeds. Bake in the oven for 20-24 minutes or until golden. Once it’s fully baked, place in a serving bowl, and in a different bowl add the honey and Aleppo pepper and warm in the oven for 15 seconds. Drizzle on top of the parcels before serving and enjoy.
