Recipe Ingredients
- 5 slices thick-cut multigrain bread
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup Darigold® Fit Lactose Free Ultra-Filtered Reduced Fat Milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- Powdered sugar, for dusting, optional
- Maple syrup, for serving
- Mixed fresh berries, for serving
Recipe Directions
- Remove crust from each slice of bread. Cut each slice into 3 equal sticks.
- Whisk eggs and milk in small bowl until combined. Combine sugar and cinnamon on large plate.
- Dip bread sticks in egg mixture, then coat in cinnamon sugar, shaking off any excess.
- Preheat air-fryer to 400°F and coat basket with nonstick cooking spray. Working in batches, place French toast sticks in air-fryer basket. Cook, flipping halfway through, until French toast sticks are crisp on the outside and tender inside, about 10 to 12 minutes. Repeat with remaining French toast sticks.
- Dust with powdered sugar. Serve with maple syrup and berries, and enjoy.
