Recipe Ingredients

  • 8 cups frozen mixed berries, thawed and drained
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed

Recipe Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss berries, sugar and cornstarch in large bowl until combined. Transfer berry mixture to a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  2. On a lightly floured work surface, cut pastry into enough squares to cover the baking dish. Arrange squares on top of fruit mixture, brushing each square with butter and slightly overlapping. Place baking dish on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake until puff pastry is golden-brown and filling is bubbling, about 25 to 30 minutes.
  3. Allow to cool for 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
