Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bowtie or fusilli pasta
  • 1, 15-oz. container Frigo® Ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup prepared pasta sauce or marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 4-oz. (1/4, 1-lb. package) Frigo® Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Recipe Directions

Cook pasta in pot of boiling salted water according to package directions. Drain in colander, shaking once or twice to drain completely. Return hot pasta to cooking pot.

Stir in Ricotta cheese, pasta sauce and basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Transfer mixture to microwave-safe casserole dish. Sprinkle shredded Mozzarella cheese evenly over the pasta.
 
Microwave on high power until Mozzarella topping is melted, 1-1/2 to 2 minutes. Serve hot.
