Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 fresh baguette, sliced (or 16 of your favorite crackers)
  • 1 cup Frigo® Ricotta cheese (whole milk or part-skim)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. lemon zest (optional)
  • 2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 2 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • Juice from 1/2 of a lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped, fresh basil or tomato

Recipe Directions

Heat oven to 325º F. Cut baguette into 16 slices and place on baking sheet. Toast in the oven for 10 minutes, until crispy. (Skip this step if you are using crackers.)

 
Mix remaining ingredients until combined. Spoon 1 Tbsp. of cheese mixture onto baguette slices or crackers. Garnish with chopped fresh basil or tomato (optional). Serve immediately.
