Recipe Ingredients
- 9 ounce P.F. Chang's Frozen Honey Chicken
- 3-4 cups cooked rice, short-grain or medium-grain
- 1 chopped scallion
- 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
- 3 roasted seaweed sheets
Recipe Directions
- Line the air fryer basket with P.F. Chang's Frozen Honey Chicken. Air fry at 400°F for 16 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Warm up the honey sauce by submerging the sauce packet in warm water.
- Allow the chicken to cool slightly then roughly chop into small pieces.
- In a small mixing bowl combine the chopped chicken, 1/2 the sauce packet, scallions, and sesame seeds. Mix well then set aside.
- Transfer the cooked rice to a large mixing bowl. Allow the rice to cool completely.
- Assemble the onigiri using a mold or by hand. To assemble by hand, place the rice on top of plastic wrap then make an indent in the center.
- Add a heaping spoonful of the honey chicken in the center. Top it off with more rice, then wrap it up tightly using your palms, applying pressure on all sides to shape the onigiri into a triangle.
- Wrap with a seaweed sheet right before serving. Enjoy!
