Recipe Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped baked SeaPak Clam Strips
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup clam juice
- 1 cup chopped canned clams
- Oil, for frying
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 cups flour
Recipe Directions
- Bake Seapak Clam Strips according to package directions. Roughly chop baked clams after removing from oven.
- In a medium sized bowl mix together flour, baking powder, salt, pepper and onion powder.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the eggs, clam juice, and canned clams. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Fold in the chopped baked clams.
- Scoop batter and drop into hot oil to fry until golden, about 2-3 minutes. Finish with salt and enjoy with some hot chowder.
