Waffles and Ice Cream with Strawberry Sauce


Waffles aren't just for breakfast!


  • 6 Frozen Waffles, toasted 
  • 1/2 gal. Vanilla Ice Cream or Frozen Yogurt 
  • 12-oz. (1 1/2cup) frozen strawberry slices
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch 
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice 
  • 1/3 cup sugar 


Toast waffles according to package directions. For sauce, combine strawberries, cornstarch, lemon juice and sugar in small saucepan and bring to boil over medium-high heat.  Cook until berries have broken down (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat and cool. To serve, place a large scoop of ice cream in each waffle and top with strawberry sauce and other garnishes.
