Turkey Bacon and Mushroom Omelet


A great alternative to traditional bacon! Crisp, delicious turkey bacon is light on calories and loaded with flavor. The creamy taste of White Cheddar balances out this delicious dish.


  • 2 slices
    turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup
    whole mushrooms, chopped
  • 1/3 cup
    tomato, seeded, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    finely chopped fresh basil*
  • package (15 oz.)
    AllWhites® egg whites White Cheddar



    Spray 10-inch nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium heat. Cook turkey bacon and mushrooms 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until bacon is heated through. In small bowl stir together turkey bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and basil. Set aside.


    Carefully wipe skillet to clean if necessary. Spray with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium heat. Pour about 1 cup AllWhites® White Cheddar into skillet. As AllWhites® start to set, use spatula to lift edge of cooked AllWhites® letting the uncooked AllWhites® flow to bottom of skillet. Cook until AllWhites® are set but still moist.


    Top one half of omelet with half of turkey bacon mixture. Cook for 1 minute or until heated through. Fold omelet in half; carefully slide onto plate.
