Steamed Vegetables with Herb Stir-Ins


It takes less than 15 minutes to make this easy and delicious side dish recipe.

  • 4 cups assorted cut up fresh vegetables (such as broccoli, cauliflower, onion, carrot, zucchini, summer squash, bell pepper and/or green beans)
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. Land O Lakes® Butter with Canola Oil
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. fresh chopped herbs (such as basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme and/or parsley)
  • Salt, if desired
  • Pepper, if desired


Place cut vegetables and water in bowl; cover. Microwave 3-4 minutes or until vegetables are crisply tender. Drain.

Add Butter with Canola Oil, herbs, salt and pepper, if desired. Toss until vegetables are evenly coated.
