Simple sliders, made with frozen bread dough from Bridgford.
- 1 loaf Bridgford Frozen Ready-Dough®, thawed
- 1 pkg. Bridgford Frozen Parkerhouse Roll Dough, thawed
- 1 egg, well beaten
- ½ lb. lean ground beef (form into 8-12 patties and cook thoroughly)
If using loaf, cut into 8-12 pieces. Using a little flour on hands, shape each dough piece into a ball. Place dough piece or rolls on greased baking sheet 1 and 1/2-inches apart. Brush with egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried onion, or cheese if desired. Let rise until double in size. Bake at 375° for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan immediately and cool on rack. When cool, split with a serrated knife. (Buns can be made 1-2 days in advance. If making earlier than that, freeze until needed.) Fill bun with cooked patty and your choice of condiments.
