- 1 pkg. Simply Potatoes® Shredded Hash Browns
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 cup (6-oz.) Crystal Farms® Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 2 Tbsp. Crystal Farms® butter, cut into small pieces
Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 11x7-inch (2 quart) baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. In medium bowl stir together Simply Potatoes®, salt and pepper. Spread half of Simply Potatoes® mixture into bottom of prepared pan. Top with 1 cup cheese. Spread with Simply Potatoes®. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
In small bowl stir together chicken broth and cream. Pour over Simply Potatoes®. Place butter pieces randomly over Simply Potatoes®. Bake, uncovered, for 40 to 45 minutes or until Simply Potatoes® are golden brown and tender.
Tip: Need to serve a large crowd? You can easily double this recipe and bake in a 13x9-inch baking dish.
