Try this recipe for an easy, cheesy pie that'll satisfy your craving for a cheeseburger!
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 cup (8-oz.) Sargento® Artisan Blends® Shredded Double Cheddar Cheese, divided
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 cup baking powder biscuit mix
- 3 eggs
Spray 9-inch pie plate with nonstick cooking spray. Cook ground beef and onion in large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned; drain. Stir in salt and pepper. Spread in pie plate; sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups Sargento® Artisan Blends® Shredded Double Cheddar Cheese.
Beat milk, biscuit mix and eggs until smooth. Pour into pie plate over ground beef mixture. Bake in preheated 400 degree F oven 30 minutes or until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
