Use pound cake and cinnamon and sugar to take this dessert up a notch - the kids will love it!
- 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 frozen Sara Lee® Pound Cake (10-3/4 ounce), thawed
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. light corn syrup
- 1-1/4 tsp. water
Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside. Slice the Sara Lee® Pound Cake and toast slices in the toaster. Pour powdered sugar in a separate bowl. Add the corn syrup and water to the powdered sugar and mix until a smooth consistency is reached. Once the pound cake is toasted, cut the slices into four strips each. Place four sticks on each plate. While they are still hot, sprinkle the sticks with the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Drizzle icing on top and serve.
