A sweet, spiced treat using pound cake and a few other simple ingredients!
- 1 frozen Sara Lee® All Butter Pound Cake (10.75-oz.), thawed
- 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. butter
- 2-1/2 tsp. water
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
Trim edges of Sara Lee® All Butter Pound Cake with a sharp knife to form an even golden rectangle. Slice pound cake in half horizontally. Cut each slice in half to make four rectangles. Toast pound cake in toaster. Remove cake from toaster and slice each piece into 4 strips.
Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon in small bowl and sprinkle on warm cake.
Blend powdered sugar and butter with a spoon. Add water and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Drizzle frosting on top of each cake stick.
Makes 16 pieces.
