Try this recipe to make an apricot rum sauce, perfect for peach pie.
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 (12 oz.) jars apricot jam (no sugar added) or spreadable fruit
- 3/4 cup rum
3 tsp. fresh lemon juice
In small saucepan, combine sugar, jam and rum; bring to a rapid boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice. Spoon over pie slices.
