Apple Breakfast Cake


This sweet recipe makes breakfast taste like dessert. YUM!


  • 1 pkg. (12 oz.) Stouffer's® Simple Dishes Harvest Apples, defrosted, according to pkg. directions
  • 1 pkg. (18.25-oz.) yellow cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/3 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 recipe streusel topping (recipe follows)


Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 13x9-inch baking pan.

Beat cake mix, eggs, milk and cinammon in large mixer bowl until just moistened. Beat for two minutes at medium speed.

Fold Stouffer's® Simple Dishes Harvest Apples into batter. Pour half of batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with half of Streusel Topping; top with remaining batter. Sprinkle with remaining Streusel Topping.

Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.


Combine 3/4 cup quick or old-fashioned oats, 3/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts, 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar, 1/2 cup melted butter, and 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon in medium bowl; mix well
