Potato and cheddar pierogies sauteed with a homemade sauce consisting of soy sauce, ginger, brown sugar, and wasabi powder. Sprinkled wit scallions, red bell pepper, and sesame seeds for maximum satisfaction.
- 1 (16-oz.) box Mrs. T's® Potato and Cheddar Pierogies
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. fresh grated ginger
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. wasabi powder
- 1 scallion, sliced
- 1/4 cup julienne red bell pepper
- 1 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
Saute pierogies in a 12-inch skillet with 2 tablespoons of oil for 8 minutes, as package directs. Remove from skillet. Over medium heat in the same skillet, heat soy sauce, ginger, brown sugar, and wasabi powder for 1 minute until well blended. Add Pierogies; toss to mix well and heat through. Remove Pierogies to a serving platter. Sprinkle with scallions, red bell pepper, and sesame seeds. Serve.
