Peaches and Cream Cobbler


Try this new twist on peach cobbler by adding cream to a classic dessert.

  • 1 (2 lb.) Mrs. Smith's® Peach Cobbler
  • 1 (8-oz.) package cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, cut up
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds or chopped pecans, toasted


Bake Mrs. Smith's® Peach Cobbler according to directions on package.

Stir together cream cheese and next four ingredients until well blended; set aside.

Combine 1/2 cup flour, brown sugar and nutmeg; cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in almonds.

Spoon warm cobbler into lightly greased 9 inch square baking dish. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over cobber; sprinkle evenly with almond mixture.

Bake cobbler at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until topping is lightly browned.
