Garden Carrot Cake


Try this recipe for a carrot cake that only needs five ingredients and an hour to make! Simply delicious.


  • 1 Mrs. Smith's® Carrot Cake
  • 1/2 can prepared icing
  • Red and yellow food coloring*
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 6 sprigs fresh mint


Place prepared frosting in bowl, add red and yellow food coloring in small amounts until desired orange color is reached. Spoon frosting into zipper bag and refrigerate until ready to decorate.

Using food processor or blender, chop walnuts until fine/granular in consistency. Sprinkle walnuts down the middle of the cake in a row.

Cut corner of icing bag (.25”) and make “carrot tops” evenly spaced along “dirt” row. Top each with mint sprig.
