- 1 10-oz. package frozen chopped broccoli, defrosted
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup Heluva Good!® Ranch Dip
- 8-oz. Heluva Good!® Colby Cheese, shredded (2 cups)
- 2 10-oz. packages refrigerator pizza crust dough
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 8 heat-and-eat type sausages
- cooking spray
Preheat over to 400F. Spray 2 baking sheets with cooking spray. Set aside.
Drain broccoli, squeezing out the moisture. In a medium bowl, combine broccoli, ricotta, Heluva Good!® dip and cheese. Mix ingredients, pat mixture even in bowl, and divide into eighths. Set aside.
Unroll pizza crust dough on cutting board. Cut in 4 pieces per package. Pat each piece into a 6-inch square. Place 1 tablespoon marinara sauce in bottom middle half of each square. Top with sausage. Take 1/8th of cheese mixture and mound over sausage, keeping 1-inch border on all sides. Wet edges of dough with water and fold the top half over. Press dough down with fingers then crimp with a fork to seal.
Place calzones onto baking sheet and bake 15 to 18 minutes until lightly browned. Let cool for a few minutes. Heat remaining marinara sauce. Serve calzones with warmed marinara sauce ladled over each.
