A cool summer treat that everyone will love!
- 1 pkg. refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
- 1-2 half gal. vanilla ice cream
- 1 lb. bag of mini semisweet chocolate chips (optional)
Bake cookies according to package directions; cool. Freeze cookies for at least 6 hours. Put 1/2-1 cup ice cream on a cookie (depending on size of cookie and taste). Place another cookie on top to make a sandwich. Repeat with remaining cookies. Wrap each sandwich in plastic wrap and freeze for several hours. Remove plastic wrap and if desired, roll each sandwich in chocolate chips. Rewrap and refreezer or eat immediately.
