There are many convenient, nutritious, delicious selections that can help – whether it’s a complementing side dish or a complete ready-to-heat-and-eat meal.

for Healthier Family Lifestyles!

Check serving sizes on the nutrition labels to keep your food portions at just the right amount.

Make good food choices, opting for at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables each day.

Get your day started off right – breakfast is the most important meal of the day and a good time to share a meal together.

Reduce time spent watching television and in other similar inactive behaviors.

Make physical activity a priority – build it into regular routines and playtime for children and the entire family. Adults should get at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity on most days of the week. Children should aim for at least 60 minutes.

Veggie Pizza

1 frozen cheese pizza
2-3 cups vegetables (spinach, peppers, mushrooms, etc.)

Preheat oven. Top frozen pizza with avariety of vegetables. Sprinkle with additional cheese if desired. Bake according to package directions. Serves 4.

Berry Banana Smoothie

Berry Banana Smoothie

1 1/2 cups frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
1 banana
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup skim milk
1/2 cup apple juice

Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serve and enjoy!
